The match commentors were dumbfounded by the quality of play of the Cromer Blasters at the SCG yesterday. During a truly entertaining experience, the Cromer Blaster put on a demonstration match that left the commentors wondering why some of the team weren't playing for Australia already!

Boundaries galore, wickets tumbling, catches taken, outrageous fielding, the Australia Team could feel the pressure and now understand where the next crop of players are coming from - the Cromer Blasters!

An awesome experience yesterday for the children, parents and coaches of the Blasters to play a game on the SCG, during the lunch time yesterday. Everyone had a ball, wonderful seeing the parents of the team filled with such joy at watching their children play on the SCG.

To play in front of 40 thousand people and be on the hallowed grounds of the SCG will be a memory that they will have for a lifetime. A special thanks to Gary Searles from Cricket NSW for making it happen and to all those that took part, what a special day it was.

We totally knocked it out of the park at the Cromer Cricket Trivia night! It was an awesome night with over 70 people showing up, including a bunch of folks from Michael Regan's family - our local Federal Member. Huge thanks to Michael and his family for supporting our club and community.

And a big shout out to Dominos Pizza for keeping everyone well-fed and to all our local businesses for providing some awesome auction items.

Guess what? We managed to raise around $2000.00 for Starlight! The rest of the funds will be used to support our efforts in promoting Girls and Womens cricket on the Northern Beaches.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped make it a success! Special shoutout to Catalina, Sam, and Lyndall for their hard work in organizing the event. And let's not forget Lochlan, who did an amazing job as our MC, keeping the crowd entertained all night long.

Wishing you all a merry xmas and a happy new year! May 2024 bring you lots of joy and prosperity.

What a start we've had to the Master Blaster's season. The Cromer Cobras and Cannonballs have rocketed into the Cricket universe, showing great skills and really enjoying their first games. Our boys and girls with their cricket space suites on, have travelled to where they've never been before, the Cricket Pitch. A place lost in time and space, where only the brave venture. Ready to step and take on the alien invaders known as the 'opposing side'.

If you'd like your child to join the fun and adventure, we always looking for more cricketing astronauts, contact us through the links on site. I know the Cobras and Cannonballs are looking forward to their next adventure into the cricket universe this weekend.
