The Good Ideas Man
The club wishes to welcome back our main sponsor from last year, the Good Ideas Man (GIM), a finance broking partnership based on Sydney’s North Shore. Peter & Julie have been involved with the arranging of finance for the past 8 years and have been associated with the Cromer Cricket Club over the past 4 years.
Last year Peter provided direct funding for equipment as well as contributing at the Trivia Night Fund Raiser. Peter over the last few years has arranged matches on turf pitches in exclusive locations for senior players. For many players, this has been their first experience of playing on a turf pitch. Peter also offers to meet half the costs of successfully completed Umpires Courses for interested parents and players.
Peter has expressed an interest in finding a way for junior players to experience playing cricket on a turf pitch just like our national squad. The committee also wishes to thank Peter for his time and effort last year as a coach for the Under 11 Div1 team. GIM see their involvement with the Cromer Cricket Club as a great way to be associated with community sport and the promotion of cricket in particular.

The Time & Tide Hotel in Campbell Pde, Dee Why will commence their innaugural season as a sponsor of the club in 2008/2009. The hotel will not only be the venue for players to gather on Saturday afternoons but also the Junior & Senior presentations and club committee meetings.
